Here it is folks! The very first post of CoEXISTdance on this blog!
We had a great performance at the Achieving Independence Center in Philadelphia today. We were fortunate enough to share dance with a wonderful group of Philly youth! Thanks everyone for making this a great experience for CoEXISTdance!!
The performance at AIC was great! I am happy to say that at each performance, rehearsal, or event we participate in, we are challenged in new ways and as a result we walk away having learned so much! At this particular event, we were challenged to be super flexible and patient with the sound system. We were also unaware of how our audience would react and interact with us, so we needed to remain open-minded.
ReplyDeleteI am so proud of the dancers for always remaining calm, cool, and collected! They are there ready to support me and coEXISTdance no matter what happens! They have made me such a brave and courageous leader because they have provided me with the peaceful reassurance that I always have a strong team and supportive backbone pushing me forward!
